Reiki Healing Service in Croydon
(SERVICE COMING SOON)
Reiki is a form of alternative healing, stemming from the Japanese words “Rei,” meaning “universal” and “ki,” meaning “life,” or “energy.” Proponents of the practice claim that it works by moving the energy inherent within the human body to places that are giving you trouble or causing you pain. Reiki healers transfer energy from their own bodies into their client through the holding of their hands close to the areas of the body that are causing issues.
Reiki works by channelling energy from one body into another. If you come for a reiki healing session with me, you gently lay down on the massage table as I channel my energy, or “chi,” through my hands and into the relevant areas of your body, without physical contact.
Although this service does not employ physical contact, it can be included as part of a massage treatment to help promote general wellbeing. Get in contact to discuss pricing.
Reiki, in some form or another, has been practiced for over 2,500 years. The transfer of energy from one person to another is a process that permeates every interaction we, as people, have and advocates claim that the practice of Reiki has strong healing capabilities, as well as promoting deep relaxation and mental wellness. The most modern iteration of Reiki was developed in the 1920s by Mikao Usui and is growing in popularity today.
As a massage therapist in Croydon, I am always looking for new and innovative ways to serve my clients, relaxing them and helping them with any ailments they may have. This service is not yet available from me, but I am in the process of getting my qualifications in order, so that I can practice Reiki healing and promote wellbeing in the mind and body, through the power of energy.
To free your body and mind with the power of energy, feel free to leave me a message on the contact form on my home page to arrange a session. Alternatively, give me a call on 07496 531 307 or send me an email to find out more information about the practice of Reiki.
